Feathers & Teeth in Santa Cruz

This fairytale concoction of teen angst and devastating loss make for a grisly good time in this unhinged “Horrordey”—a stew of dark comedy, family drama and over-the-top carnage. Angsty teenager Chris is reeling from her mom’s illness and recent death. Throw in dad’s new girlfriend (mom’s ex-nurse), a few vicious creatures and the kid next door, and things really get twisted. Part creature feature and part revenge tragedy, the highly theatrical "Feathers & Teeth" delivers a riveting exploration of grief and obsession. With a heavy helping of blood, of course.
