2026 Ed Ricketts Memorial Award and Lecture with Dr. Andrew T. Fisher
2026 Ed Ricketts Memorial Award and Lecture featuring Dr. Andrew Fisher The Ed Ricketts Memorial Award was created to honor scientists who have exhibited exemplary work throughout their career and advanced knowledge, appreciation, conservation and/or protection of the marine environment. Recipients are selected by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Research Activity Panel. Dr. Fisher will provide a lecture showing and linking results from field and modeling studies to illustrate how novel tools and computing help to create new opportunities in subseafloor exploration and discovery. See MBNMS News page for more information. Program Schedule: Doors open at 6:00pm for light refreshments and independent exploration. Presentation begins at 6:30pm and features a talk by the award recipient, Dr. Andrew T. Fisher with Q+A to follow. No reservations required, seating for the presentation portion of the event is first-come, first-serve and limited. Light refreshments will be served.
