Announcing the Philosophy of Yog(a) FREE workshop. There will be two opportunities to attend: Thur, Sept 17, 5-6:30 & Sat. Sept 19, 2-3:30 in person at the Aptos Library or online with the link provided. The Sanskrit pronunciation is Yog and it means “to join”. It is where we get the word ‘yoke” from that we fasten to a beast of burden to plow a field. But in this sense Yog refers to joining our worldly consciousness with spiritual consciousness. There are many paths of yog, each one with different methods to attain different forms of liberation from material living: Enlightenment, Self and Soul Realization, God-Realization and Divine Love Consciousness. Whether you are a weekend warrior yog student or an advanced yogi, having the authentic and original knowledge—the gyan—and the philosophy—the siddhant—is essential to enhance and accelerate progress in your Soul’s Journey. In this workshop we will cover: · All eight branches of Ashtang(a) yog · The unique ideology and methods of Tantra yog · The intense and mystical kundalini experience · The sweet and simple profundity of Bhakti yog in the Rasik tradition · Guided meditations and instructions · East meets West: the relationship between yoga philosophy and western religions and mystical paths My name is Swami Rosh Krishnanand and have been a yogi and pilgrim studying and practicing in Uttar Pradesh India and Nepal for over 20 years. I present on the ancient, genuine and authentic understanding of the yog philosophy. RSVP and the link to join live are on https://scottspackey.com/swami-krishnanand/
