Breath, Beats & Beyond: A Rhythm And Breathwork Journey

This is not a drumming class, nor is it simply a breathwork session. It is an invitation to experience how breath and rhythm work together to calm the nervous system, quiet the analytical mind, and awaken a deeper sense of presence. Together, we'll explore belly breathing, vocal toning, gentle body awareness, simple hand drumming, and rhythmic shaker practices that anyone can enjoy, no musical ability required. Each workshop is designed as a complete stand-alone experience while also serving as the foundation for those who wish to continue exploring the transformative relationship between rhythm and breath. Rather than learning increasingly complicated techniques, we'll return to these timeless practices again and again, allowing them to deepen with each experience. No experience is necessary. Drums and rhythm instruments are provided, and each participant will receive two complimentary egg shakers to continue practicing at home. Before language, there was rhythm.
