Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit
“Till death due us part.” Everyone knows those words from the traditional marriage ceremony but these days, how many people actually mean them? That’s the question centered around Noel Coward’s zany Blithe Spirit, when author Charles Condomine goes to a medium and accidentally conjures the spirit of his dead first wife. Originally performed in 1941, this paranormal farce still relates to audiences today with its themes of love, loyalty and what to do when the deceased just won’t stay dead. Presented by the Kirby School, this runs three days from Nov.5th - 7th at 7pm with a Sunday matinee on Nov. 8th at 1pm. -Mat Weir; Good Times Santa Cruz
