Sketching Birds in Motion: A Joint Meetup with the Santa Cruz Nature Journaling Club & Santa Cruz Bird Club

Please join us for a nature journaling meet-up at Westlake Pond. With plenty of Mallards and Coots, Westlake Pond is great for honing our skills at capturing moving birds. Other likely subjects include Canada Geese, Ring-neck Ducks, Ruddy Ducks, Common Merganser and Double-Crested Cormorants. Newcomers to nature journaling and to birding welcome! Bring a chair, a sketchbook, binoculars and art supplies like… colored pencils, pens, watercolors, etc. Dress in layers. Cancel if rain.
