First Friday Reception for Rhythms Within

Join us at the Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center in downtown Ben Lomond for an informal reception for our exhibit, Rhythms Within: Abstract Expressions on First Friday, September 4 from 5-7 pm. Abstract art can range from slightly altered depictions of reality to entirely non-representational works. When we let go of what we see and tap into images we find within us, we can connect with our own perspective on reality. For this open-invitational exhibit, local artists present strong work that focuses on emotion, ideas, or an internal reality, rather than a recognizable subject. You’ll find works ranging from painting and multi-media assemblage to ceramics and jewelry.
