Big Blue Community Indigo Vat - Sunday, August 23rd / 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. with Vicki Lynn ([email protected]) Location: Fábrica in Pacific Ave Courtyard, 703 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz Description: Bring your clean, natural fiber fabric items to dip in the organic indigo dye vat. Let's all get blue! Materials: Please consider a donation of $3 - $5 for materials. Bring your own clothing or fabric to dip if you would like – unhemmed fabric squares will also be available if you just want to experiment. Plant-based fibers such as cotton, linen, or hemp work best with the indigo vat. Items should be clean and laundered without fabric softener or dryer sheets. NOTAFLOF for real - no one turned away for lack of funds. Community care note: Class will be outdoors in the courtyard.
