Capitola’s Annual Beach Festival will have something for everyone to enjoy. Head to Capitola for this free, family-friendly, and fun event. Saturday, September 26 Schedule: ($52.28 to register) 8am – 11am: Little Wharf 3-mile race 10am – 2pm: Sand Sculpture Contest. Awards at 2:30pm 11am – finish: Cornhole on the Beach 12pm – 3pm: Children’s Art – Create and display at Esplanade Park 12pm – 4pm: Scavenger Hunt 4pm – 6pm: Music at the Beach 7pm – 8pm: Lighted Nautical Parade on Soquel Creek 8pm: Drone Show Following The Nautical Parade Sunday, September 27 7am – 11am: Fishing Derby (kids $20, Adults $40, Swimmers Free) 9am – 3pm: Paddleboard 10am – 11:30am Ukuleles on the Beach 10am – finish: Horseshoes on the Sand 11am – 2pm: Chalk Art on the Seawall 1pm – finish: Rowboat Races
