The ABC's of Lowriding

Cruisin’ through the culture one letter at a time – Join us at the library for “The ABC’s of Lowriding” with artist Ricardo Cortez! Through hands-on workshops blending STEAM concepts and Chicano lowrider culture, participants will create one-of-a kind artworks that educate, inspire and celebrate community creativity. This event will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00-3:00pm at the Main Library. Come experience the art, history, and culture behind lowriding in a fun and creative space for all ages! Recorriendo la cultura letra por letra - ¡Se le invita al evento “The ABC’s of Lowriding” con el artista Ricardo Cortez! A través de talleres prácticos que combinan conceptos STEAM y la cultura chicana lowrider, los participantes crearán obras de arte únicas que educan, inspiran y celebran la creatividad de la comunidad. Este evento se llevará a cabo el sábado 18 de septiembre a las 1:00-3:00pm en la Biblioteca Principal. ¡Ven y disfruta del arte, la historia y la cultura detrás del lowriding en un espacio creativo y divertido para todas las edades!
