Kaiser Permanente Arena: World Elite Sumo

World Elite Sumo, the first professional sumo wrestling league outside of Japan’s sumo ecosystem, brings its exciting, action-packed event to Santa Cruz for the first time in history with a one-night, open weight, single-elimination tournament at Kaiser Permanente Arena! A collection of the world’s best sumo wrestlers from the U.S., Japan, Brazil, The Middle East and elsewhere will collide, with one man standing in the winner’s circle at the end of the night. This is a family-friendly event. Children of all ages are welcome.
