College and Career Family Night

FREE Event! Open to the public! Explore the possibilities! College and Career Family Night is a chance to meet university representatives from numerous public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities. It is also an opportunity to learn about Cabrillo College’s degrees and programs, attend workshops, and explore various resources. This event is free and open to the public. Workshops will be offered in English & Spanish. Event Destinations Cabrillo Career & Academic Pathways Library, Building 1000 Learn about Cabrillo College's educational opportunities, attend workshops, take a quick career assessment, explore learning communities, support programs, resources and clubs. Meet University Representatives Gymnasium, Building 1100 Meet university representatives from numerous public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities. Campus Housing Costa Vista Housing Leasing Office - Parking Lot S Learn more about Costa Vista student housing and get a tour of a model unit. Explore Workshops Financial Aid Workshop How do I pay for college? Financial aid staff will walk you and your family through the financial aid process. Start times: 6:10 p.m., 6:45 p.m., & 7:20 p.m. Location: Library, 2nd floor Empowering Futures: Dual Enrollment Workshop for Families How do I take classes as a high school student? Discover how Dual Enrollment can transform your student's path to college! Join us to understand what Dual Enrollment is, explore its many benefits, and learn how to get your student started. Start times: 6:45 p.m. Location: Library, 2nd Floor Transfer Pathways Workshop How do I transfer to a four-year university? Cabrillo College Academic Counselors will discuss various pathways and programs to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Start times: 6:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. Location: Gymnasium, Room 1118 Parking & Transportation Parking is available in student parking areas. No permit is needed.
