Minnow Arts and Jonathan Steinberg Present: “I Turn My Body From The Sun”

This October marks the 175th anniversary of the publishing of the novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Unappreciated at the time, Moby Dick was ahead of its time in subject matter and style and widely considered as one of the great American novels. Minnow Arts is hosting “I Turn My Body From The Sun” a large group art show curated by Jonathan Steinberg to celebrate this anniversary. A wide variety of subject matter and artistic media will be on display. The show opens on October 2nd from 5 to 9pm and hangs through November 15th. Artists include: Jamie Garfield, Dave Gardner, Genevieve Daly, Kevin Mirsky, Jonathan Steinberg, Lawrence LaBianca, Lucas Elmer, Meghan Hudson, Coco Barret-Tormey, Zac Garfield, Ann Alstead, John Lindsey, Rob Bird-Robinson and Shelby Graham
