Still Life Plein Air Painting Workshop in the garden at Sierra Azul Nursery with Coko Brown. Saturday September 12, 10:30am - 1:30pm, Cost $55 (Includes Materials) A professional artist, Coko has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows throughout San Diego and Tucson, Arizona. She paints both en plein air and in the studio, and especially enjoys teaching outdoors in garden settings, where she feels a natural connection between art and gardening—another creative passion of hers.As a certified Master Gardener, Coko previously led regular classes in gardens across San Diego and conducted workshops in community spaces. She works with students of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned painters, and from young adults to seniors. Her approachable methods consistently help participants create artwork they feel proud of.Coko’s teaching style blends elements of art history, color theory, color mixing, composition, and brushwork into clear, engaging lessons.
