Film Screening: American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez

As we celebrate HSI Week and Hispanic Heritage Month, I invite you to join us for a special FREE screening of American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez on Monday, September 14 at 1:00 PM in the Crocker Theater. This acclaimed documentary celebrates the life and legacy of Luis Valdez and his groundbreaking work elevating Chicano stories through films such as Zoot Suit and La Bamba. Following the film, we are fortunate to have co-producer Brenda Avila-Hanna join us for a Q&A.
