The 8th Annual KBCZ Music Fest returns Saturday August 29th to Garrahan Park in Boulder Creek. Our 4 bands are The Mother Corn Shuckers, Squidrow Orchestra, Trestles and the headliner is local mountain favorite, The Coffis Brothers. Local breweries offering beer/wine and cider, Vendors and kids activities. All proceeds benefit KBCZ 89.3 FM Boulder Creek Community Radio which is celebrating 10 years on the air! 5:30-7:30pm Formed in 2022, Rivets & Rust are a Santa Cruz Rock, Folk, Americana Band. Their music encompasses a unique variety of singer-songwriter originals as well as a collection of classic covers. The band's delivery of a mellow vibe with soaring vocals and smoking guitar passages resonates with a wide range of audiences. Rivets & Rust are: Tim Bennett- Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals, Angela Bennett- Keys/Harmony Vocals, Glenn MacPherson- Lead Guitar, Jeff Arlt- Drums, and Mark Hull- Bass.

Ubiquitous today, the tribute band phenomenon can trace its roots back to celebrating the music and personality of Elvis Presley. Focusing on the “golden era” of Elvis’ career, Bay Area-based The King’s Men Tribute band is fronted by singer Lloyd Aron Douglas, an Elvis tribute artist since 2012. The group boasts an all-classic repertoire of nearly three dozen songs popularized by and/or associated with the undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. While Greyboy himself moved on to other projects, the band preserved his visionary spirit, with each Allstar contributing a legacy of their own. Saxophonist and flutist Karl Denson first turned heads playing on essential Lenny Kravitz albums Let Love Rule and Mama Said, then led Karl Densons Tiny Universe. Hes toured as a member of The Rolling Stones since 2014 and appeared as the Sexual Chocolate sax player in Eddie Murphys iconic Coming to America. Guitarist Michael Andrewsor Elgin Park, if you preferis a noted film composer whose work on Donnie Darko (with his signature cover of Tears for Fears Mad World) remains central to its cult status. Keyboardist Robert Walter leads Robert Walters 20th Congress, and plays with Mike Gordon from Phish. Bassist Chris Stillwell and drummer Aaron Redfield are in-demand session standouts, with credits alongside Sia, Elton John, CeeLo, and Charli XCX
